Engine swap - 96' 3.4l DOHC out, '93 3.4l DOHC

Hello,

I have a '96 GTP with the 3.4l DOHC that is leaking oil. I can get my hands on a rebuilt '93 3.4l DOHC (saving me the rebuild work/cost).

I don't think there are any issues with the physical part of transferring the transmission over/dropping engine in.

I am wondering about the control side of things. I would be keeping all of the '96's wiring and its computer.

Does anybody have any thoughts on the 'gotchas' of doing this?
