Engine Light on code P0171, IDLE SURGING!

So... Engine light on and throwing a p0171. Engine running to lean bank 1. SO FAR--- ive checked all vacuum hoses for leaks i could spot with the naked eye: nothing. Changed the MAF (twice), changed the entire CAT assembly (it did have an older leak, that i have been putting off changing but is fixed now), changed the PCV valve, changed the IAC valve, changed the EGR valve, changed the fuel filter, changed BOTH up and downstream 02 sensors, cleaned the TPS (though it was already clean). NOTHING. Cleared the code starts up, and pops right back on.

PROBLEM: starts right up and runs smooth, after the engine gets warm it begins to surge at idle. I've also noticed a light white smoke from behind the engine down towards the front 02 sensor under the EGR valve area. Something else I cant figure out. :mad:

Ive searched google, youtube, and the forum for other common issues and without getting to deep into the engine itself (little knowledge with), I'm stressed out over what else it could be. ANY HELP OR OTHER TROUBLESHOOTING WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!

You said you searched the forum for your code, therefore you should know exactly what I'd say is your first stop to check.

Cause...I've said it like a hundred billion times. ;)

Please let us know when you pull the tube and check it for the crack that we all know it has.
