Hey GP owners, i want to clean my engine, i have engine de-greaser but I'm scared to use water because of the electrical connectors in the area. Do anyone have any suggestions on what i can do? 2004 GTP comp g

i use teh engine cleaner pressure washer at the car wash... just dont get to crazy with pressure. keep it back a few feet from engine. wouldnt recommend that with a open cone intake though ;)

just cover all the electrical connections with either tin foil, plastic or something like that, apply your degreaser and lightly spray it off.

Spray them with the garden hose they will be fine. They are water tight. You just can not use a pressure washer on high. You might have a slight miss If you do not let it dry completely before starting.

I spray my engine down every couple months i use engine brite(do not use on hot engine It will flame up on headers/mani's)
I use pressure washer stand back a little unless im triing to hit a tough spot
i just bag the open cone havent had any issues except on my wagon it missed for a little bit till it dries

After you wash and rinse just let the engine dry or run it at ide for a few min to dry
