Why should the interlocking flex be bought?

So the exhaust isn't just a solid piece and has some give to it IMO.

the flex is to go over the other flex that came with the SSAC Header my question is can you put it on avfter it is installed

Push it in from under the car, I have SSAC headers and I did this took me 30 yes 30 seconds to put it in, just do it and save yourself the ache of going through the top.

Riley did you replace your flex or did you leave the one in that it came with?

Left it, its fine I just have some AWESOMELY LOUD lifter Tick... kinda scary the first time you hear it... but the flex pipe is fine. just leave it.

OK sounds good. I will just get some good clamps for the auto store in town. They have stainless wide band style clamps that should work good.

I bought the Accuseal ones and found out that it is a 3" DP but you do not get 3" clamos cause they are too big

Do I need to RTV all the slip joints if I'm going to weld them?

it is a good idea use copper if you are going to do it and let sit over night

You do not need to RTV the joints you are welding.

If you are welding them you are all set the RTV is only for the Clamped sections
