Emergency !!!door problem

Got too work this morning and the door mechanism is jammed in the closed position I can not close the door it will not latch and its raining anyone got a quick fix till I can get home
 


your talking about the inside of the car door latch closed when the door is still open? if so open the door hold the handle up,as to open it, and with a screw driver or what ever you got to pry the locks open, it should open/pop open.
 
Press the unlock button and pull the door handle a bunch of times see if the latch will free up. otherwise grab some garbage bags and some tape
 
hanks I will try that on my break and let you know. Once i get it home do you think I need a whole new lock or grease this on what is the permanent fix?
