Electrical problems - dome light, alarm goes off

I have a 2000 Grand Prix GT with roughly 218,000 miles. It runs great but I have a strange probelm. Today when I started my car, the interior dome light would not turn off! I checked the obvious, that a door wasn't stuck open or that I didn't accidentally bump it on. Nothing. My boyfriend helped me take the stupid fuse out so it wouldn't stay on and kill the battery. But when he did that, the car alarm went off and would not turn off no matter what I did for like 10 minutes! My neighbors were all sleeping and are pissed off at this, I'm sure. What is happening with my GT? How do I fix this? Please let me know!:mad:
 


Sounds like the switch that tell when the door is open possibly malfunction. Also, the car will turn off any interior lights automaticly after 15 min or so to keep from draining battery if door is left open, or lights left on unpurposly.
