which lowering springs should i get? im riding 90000 mile stockers so im thinkin im lowered a lil bit haha and i want a nice drop lemme know and if you guys got before and after shots thtd be great...i wanna close that gap up in my fender in my sig but i still want a very small gap on top i dont want my tires in the fender while driving with these wide ass rims i need a lil more clearance....

from reviews ive heard im leaning toward eibachs but im afraid the drop will be too much i think lowerin it will bring the top of my rims and tires in a lil and then ill roll the fenders but i have a small amount of room to play with....i dont wanna buy 250$ eibachs and have to sell them because im rubbing..

how low do you want to go and how harsh of a ride do you want?

here are the springs you can get:

vogtland - 1" drop, cushy ride (these are GMPP springs)

SSC - 1.2-1.5" drop, solid ride (these ride rougher than my eibachs, seriously)

eibach/B&G - 1.5-2" drop, solid yet comfy ride for how low the car is

intrax - 3" drop, slammed, probably rides like a truck with less give

i REALLY dont think whatever springs you put on it that youre going to worry about the tires hitting the fenders. roll them, it does a lot of good.

ssc's are stupid

that's funny when zzp first selling them everybody buying them like hot cakes. as a matter of fact zzp stop selling them for awhile and since many people wanting them zzp started selling them again. it's just a matter of opinion rather you like it or not. i like the ssc cause they don't drop a whole lot like most lowering springs and the ride is not harsh either.

Ill be replacing my ssc's II's with B&G's. The lowering you get with ssc's isn't worth the discomfort. Id rather be lower with the same or maybe better ride as the ssc's.

eibachs give the ass sag, happened on my friends gse. i had ssc's but i changed them because i got my hands on a gmpp/koni package. i vote go with the vogtlands

good luck getting vogtland cause they are on back order and who know how long it will take. that was my original springs to get at first. vogtland will lower the car about the same ssc anyway.

I went with the SSC's and KYB AGX adjustable struts. I dont have ass sag and have a great ride for having 20's

how much are supposed to shim up the mouter mounts per inch of drop?

no clue, but i think vinnie's spacers are something in the area of 3/8"? i have to run shorter dogbones because my exhaust is too close to the bottom of the car as it is.
