Egr tube

Hey gp heads! I have a P0401 code for low egr flow so i recently got a new egr valve. Ive read in the haynes repair manual that for the v6 engines you have to disconnect the egr pipe at the exhaust manifold, but for some reason i cant seem to find it. Im guessing i have to clean that tube as my engine light is still on. Help will be appreciated :)

On your engine, EGR flow is checked by the map sensor. Keep this in mind if the pricey EGR doesn't fix the issue.

Your egr is held on by two 13mm nuts. Undo them from the top, lift.. clean and replace the gasket. Bolt new one on.

Here's the bracket and both tubes off the engine, upside down. That stud you see is one of the two that hold the egr on.
