Dude,

If you've got Woodpeckers, you've got a much bigger problem, INSECTS! and they are feeding on them, they are just calling attention to your bug problem, more often than not you've got an issue with Carpenter Ants or Termites, I would call in a professional to diagnose your problem before you come home one day and see a big pile of sawdust where your house once stood !

the decoys are udner 10 bucks a piece, dont pay alot all you need is shape.



Get a .177 break barrel gamo or RWS you cant get a better adult air gun, we are talking 1200FPS not 300-500, these can and will take down big game with a well placed shot.


Watch what you shoot, I am a hunter too and you need ethics, use your head a little bit on this. felony for a friggin song bird.
 
Yeah i have seen some damn powerful air guns. Yeah if their were a few woodpeckers around i would probably buy some decoys
 


If a "protected bird" is ****in with your stuff I think you'd have the right to blow it's brains out. A king fisher was eating my dads friends coy fish out of his pond, and coy are expensive so one day the dude shot it in the throat with his compound bow. He buried then, beautiful birds but oh well lol
