First the ECLIPSE GT..
Im off work coming home almost midnight & I see some bright PINK hids heading my way from behind. I was cruising it around 70ish & they pass by me & i look to my side & i see 2 guys riding an eclipse gt 03ish with a big *ss tip, im like ok whatever & keep cruising, pass em.. not on purpose(KINDA jaja), then they catch up & get to my side. well we´re driving side by side around 80 & he steps on it & i just gas it & start pulling on him like nothing, did that two times & then i just started toy´n with him, he was gassin hit hard & im just letting him catch up
then i pull on em, did that 2 more times until the guy just gave up & stayed like a couple car lengths behind me, kinda made my nite since he made me laugh a little haha..

MUSTANG ROUSH (couldnt believe it)
Im cruising back home from dropping off a friend at her house.. a couple of exits before mine & see a challenger looked like the Srt8 pass me hauling *ss & then a little after behind him a white mustang looked like the gt 03ish.. also saw that he had a complete exhaust (LOOKED & SOUNDED LIKE IT :p ) I wasnt even planning
on pushing my car hard but im like F*** it (: caught up to the mustang had my windows rolled up so he couldnt see me haha.. I saw he had a triple gauge pillar with I dont know what.. & then I saw the ROUSH badge im like F*** imma get my ass handed to me.. It was too late to back off which i never do even though i might or I KNOW imma lose haha.. so we get side by side, i turn down my stereo, i roll my window down a little bit so i could hear him when he gassed it, i dont know why but when i race on the freeway i always drop it to 3rd before gassing it, for me it works but well let tell you what happens.... so anyways he goes for it & i gas it & I just pull on him like nothing but well you know i forgot to put my car before hand on D & it topped off & he passed me haha.. but guess he was kinda angry or sad since he changed 3 lanes to get to the next exit hahaha.. still counts, kinda :p i was so happy (: haha, but dissapointed in me at the same time haha F*** IT i won... hope i see that stang again once i get my headers & full exhaust (:

*G8 GXP (Crushed/DESTROYED Me, BAAAAAAAAD)
Driving from work, tried to catch up to some co-workers but guess i passed em or they never actually got on the freeway haha so im just cruising listening to music, bumpin the stereo (: when i see what seemed to be a g6 got a better look & it was a dark grey G8 which also sounded like he had an exhaust, i was a lane away,i was alone he was with his girl, or a guy with long hair hahaha.. so i get next to him when he stepped on it a little im like lets do it (: we get side by side when i gas it..... i was simply BLOWN AWAY.. i was like WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF ! that thing was KRAZY FAST ! :O i caught up, got next to him & gave him the thumbs up (: he got off on the next exit & that was it for the night..

 


What mods do you have The eclipse is a given, im not to sure about that Mustang being a ROusch, and G8's are Swwweeeett!!!! Nice kills
 
Just cause a car is badged Rousch doesnt mean it is... And the eclipse if you didnt it woulda been a shame and I agree G8s are nice
 
I ran a 14.9 in my wifes stock 03 eclipse GTS. When I had a 3.8 pulley [plog set up from a 60 roll it was a dead even run. from a 20 roll Id walk away. The eclipses have a strong top end. Must have been a GS/RS you ran. No way could you gas let off and gas and walk away from a eclipse GT based of the mods in your signature and a highway roll. IMO

99 GTP like mine, eclipse has close to the same HP but no TQ... easy kill, like v-6 stangs.
IF it was a Roush he was playing with you, if it was a modded GT on the highway you were lucky or he was a bad driver, if you did decimate him it was a badged v-6 (sorry but our cars are great 0-60s, but not so great on the highway until you sink in mods, CAI and stereo don't count:th_winking:).
The G8 is funny, like trying to race a vette, LS? Maro, or any other 400hp+ car, good times tho

F*** IT (: haha.. & yeah a sound system & a CAI wont count as mods.. it is what it is FOR NOW (: pay check coming in next week & mods going in :th_king-evil: well some haha.. just outta curiosity, what would be some good mods for some top end? (:
& probably was a badged stang but with a freakin weak lame driver..
it was GT.. at least :D but.... LAME DRIVER :p Sounded mean as F*** though haha..

yeah they are pretty decent, once before i actually drove a Clipse that had headers & an intake
& DAMN that thing was FAST (: well i liked how it felt & everything.. good power.. But this one was a Gt, saw the lil badge & all (: .. prolly getting kinda lame drivers hahaha :th_laugh-lol3: poor cars u_u
 
headers def a must. but rockers will wake it up on the top side. id say am but im really against the cam game with the 1 inch chains no longer around

i was actually thinking of putting in a cam a little bit later on..
but Im no sure how much would the Install go for.. But yeah,
headers it is & also with a nice sounding exhaust (: .. damn, I wanna get paid already hahaha.. Ive been reading about the rockers but its tempting but im more biased towards NOT getting em, but F*** it if its worth ill do it (: but installing the cam & rockers together :p
 
you either go cams or rockers not both. rockers make for a whole new car on the top end. obviousy not as much as a cam. but its a vast difference. with a pretty basic install
 
i wouldnt be so sure about the rousch, i raced a 2010 mustang gt 5 speed from a 20 roll he had full exhaust i had powerlog and 3 inch dp, and i was on his bumper until about 75, granted, one of the worst shifters i have ever seen, better yet, heard.
 
Roush cars are just a body package and badges...engine upgrades ARE optional. You could have a 150 horse 3.8 V6 Mustang with Roush everything and looks exactly like a blown V8 car...only thing different would be the sound...
 


Ummm...headers = exhaust...catback does nothing...save your money.

Cam OR rockers.

Unless you plan on getting a VS/XP/S1X and offsetting the ratio somewhere with 1.70:1's instead of 1.60:1's.

Just get a S1X or XP if you plan on camming...but since your saying you want to do cam and rockers...I recommened researching and reading as your first mod after headers.
 
Dead on with the Roush bieng mostly an appearance package. If it was a GT it has the exhaust coming out right in front of the rear tire through the ground effect. Most of them just have the v6 or the gt motor with no mods. If it would have been a stage three roush with the big motor it would have looked like this and had 430 hp

if it was an 09 stage 1 it looked similar to this and has either a v6 or the standard v8

The stage two looks nearly the same and has 300 hp
 
Actually...there was a kid who was quite a few years younger than me rolling around town in a yellow V6 Roush he got for turning 16...I think it was an '03...but it had side exit exhaust just like the V8 one did. Not sure if he took the pipes FROM the V8 and use the entire kit...but it looked exactly like this...minus it didn't have the pony on the fender had black bullitts that he put on it...
