I don't want to hear the eBay speil, I bought an SE and I don't care what happens to it so I'm thinking radical. I want to know what's stopping me, maybe if someone could help me find the dimensions to a 93-98 VW jetta front struts, and the dimensions for a 03 Grand Prix It might help discover if it is even a possibility. Thanks in advance.

Did you just randomly find a listing and think "I wonder if these will fit my car"?

Anyways, Just comparing struts on autozone's website, Doesn't look promising.

The VW Struts are
Extended Length:21.38 in.
Compressed Length:14.92 in.
Stroke:6.46 in.
The Grand Prix struts are

Extended Length:16.61 in.
Compressed Length:10.87 in.
Stroke:5.75 in.

And even then, both have completely different strut mounts at the top, Both have a different length in thread and shoulder to accommodate the strut mount.
AND there's a very good chance it wont even fit on the steering knuckle.

I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish. But I'm fairly certain VW struts will not work in a Grand Prix.

What is your budget?
There are a couple quick strut options on Rock Auto that would put you in off road mode

Thank you I really do appreciate it, I couldn't find anything on, and no lol I have a 96 jetta with a blown engine and rust everywhere and I was thinking about a mash up of a bunch of useless crappy cars.

come look everyone, it's a dumb noob asking retarded questions and copping an attitude when he doesn't get the answer he expects.

No problem.
And that makes sense. Soon as I got my RX-8 I started seeing what parts might fit a G6. Never know what'll work.
For instance coilovers for a saab 9-3 will fit a G6, but they were built on the same platform so it wasn't too far off.

3800 swap the Jetta! haha

Anyways Autozone's site is pretty good about listing some details and dimensions. I always check em out when I'm trying to see if something will fit something else

I got this piece for 200 bucks running with no title, I'm going to hack and chop and weld all I want and comments stating that I'm dumb or new( which I am to the GP forum ), are useless, I don't care if you think it won't work or can't work, I am going to make it, so any constructive criticism or help is well appreciated, but keep your hate to yourself.

no one heres stopping you. what good is it tho if its got no title? whats the plan with it? some kinda of lemons event i hope. we can all back that kind of shenanigans.
