Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

E85

I run the AEM one. I love it. Only complain is when you get to around 1/4 tank and take a corner too fast the car will fuel starve...

Should be some widebands for sale on the forum. Usually can find new/slightly used for $150-$175 shipped. Definitely do the pump rewire. You may or may not need a new pump depending on your power goals.

Pump rewires supposedly bump up the same setup (whether you're using a stock or aftermarket pump) by 10+%

I would recommend a rewire no matter if you're staying stock, or going for a big build. It can only help.

I have heard you can get away with a stock pump using a rewire and larger injectors somewhere in the 300-320whp range. Haven't tested that theory yet myself, but I'd believe it.

Tricky.. maybe some pumps can.

Best rewire would be replacing the canister connector too. Im runnnng a cobalt pump with a full can rewire to 400whp+ without issue.

I will do the pump rewire and upgraded fuel pump even still. But would stock heads with upgraded valves and springs work good for the time being. No one in my area wants to port my heads so ive gotta find a good set of ported heads later

If you have 42s you dont need a tune wideband etc... just get a good fuel pump and leave the rest stock. Porting heads is real real hard to do correctly and there are easier gains to be had with a cam swap and or a turbo swap.

I do have other mods also. Lq4 maf n* tb ported sc 9.5:1 comp bottem end. Is it surely safe to run this setup with no tune

LQ4 maybe not... Should be pretty close still if you let the fuel trims max out a bit first... E85 has a large tolerance range so your afrs can be off a bit at wot and it wont cost you performance or safety.

If "getting a tune" is not that easy for you down there, I wouldnt worry about it until after you find problems with the stock tune/whatever tune you have now assuming you have it tuned for 33lb injectors. The key to the "e85 on a stock tune" is being tuned for 33# injectors and swapping in the 42s with the E85 at the same time.

Tune will be no problem. I just need to know the pros and cons so i do it the right way. I planned to go the intercooler route. Would i benefit if i put an intercooler on down the road

Parts list:

1 - Fuel Pump. (Walboro/Racetronix/AEM). Some people mentioned you can run a stock pump, but I will rather be on the safe side and upgrade.
2 - Fuel Pump Rewire. I've heard the Casper Rewire is the best.
3 - Injectors. 42.5 or 60. If I ever went e85, I'd only go with 60# injectors. Sure, you can use e85 with 42.5# injectors, but you'll max them out down the road pretty quickly if you continue to mod. If you're buying new there is only a $5 difference between 42.5 and 60 injectors. I'd just go with the larger ones and not worry about maxing them out.
4 - Tune.
5 - And of course, e85 itself and enjoy the "free" power at the pump.

And to answer your question about the intercooler. I can't imagine it would ever hurt to have one. Especially on these cars. These M90 blowers get HOT. And heat is obviously your biggest enemy when it comes to Pre-Detonation. Cooling the air charge, can only be safer. I'd personally only go with Stage 2 or Phenolic core though, not a Short Stack. I've heard they can warp and get heat soaked pretty quickly. Just save and spend the extra money for the larger core.

Ive got the 42lb injectors already as you said though i shouldve gone 60s. For sure upgrading the pump n pump rewire. Didnt think the ic would hurt eitger deffy want to be on the safe side
