• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

E85

IMHO, yes it would be safe. E85 shouldn’t damage your fuel system or engine, if you car is in good repair. IIRC in the 80’s car fuel systems were changed to deal with ethanol. And then about 97 the whole E85 thing exploded, and to my knowledge the big difference between an E85 car and not, is a sensor and an extra injector map (my terminology might be off I’m not a tuner guy). I also have read accounts of many people running E85 with zero mods, and no problems. That said, you might run out of injector duty cycle if you driver it like a race-kar.

You need tuned for it.

You need larger injectors.

Run one or the other. Don't do half and half. Run the tank low, fill up with the opposite and switch to that fuels tune.

You'll want to change your fuel filter a time or two afterwards.

I run e85 and i love it. Never had to change the filter on mine or my buddies car.... We must have clean gas here

With a stock pulley you could probably run it without tuning if you took it easy for the first few miles. would need to keep an eye on wide open stuff, tuning would help alot.
