Ive been planning on getting a new exhaust for a while now, I was going to buy it around christmas but then I got laid off. So I am saving up so by summer Ill be able to do it. Ive been looking at the Dynomax Cat-Back Exhaust at PFYC.com. The price is in my range, plus I can get it for around 380 from where I used to work. All the reviews look good.
I thought I would ask you guys what you thought and your opinions you guys seem to really know your stuff.

also on a side note my girlfriend has been saying she wants to buy it for me, which I am little unsure about. Thats a lot of money for her to spend on me, but she wont take no for an answer, so I may not have to pay for it after all.

Thanks

Overpriced. Get one from an exhaust shop that does good work and you'll be paying around 250.00

It wont do anything for performance but if your going for sound try to do some research and find out how this system sounds or talk to someone who has this and see if they like it. I know alot of people who have changed there exhaust and wished they just left the factory mufflers on.... Im one of them. The facory mufflers sound good as far as Im concerned.

i have it on my car except i changed back to stock mufflers because of the drone. the bends are better than stock, i have no complaints
the system is slighty louder than stock as long as you have a catted downpipe, once i went catless it droned like crazy

for the dynomax exhaust or another one??

A custom exhaust that is the same as the dynomax. Just not made by them instead made and manderal bent by the exhaust shop themselfs,

I would also stick with stock mufflers.

I will have to say that they have cars trapping 110+ on the stock catback. So it won't do to much performance.

hmm not sure what to do now, I dont much about exhausts so im sort of lost
I would like to gain both sound and performance

Ok then. Perfect.

Go to the exhaust shop. Tell them you want some some dynomax turbo mufflers (for the sound and performance)

The catback is pretty much going to be the same as the stock one enless they go bigger to a 3'' pipe size.

Like I said unitll you get into the high 11's you're not going to notice any difference from changing anything else out.

Some other things you could do is deleate the u-bend (if you get under the car you will see what I am talking about)

Dealeate the cat if emissions is non existance in you're town.

I would not recomend taking the resignator out or you will get a real raspy and unpleasant sound.
