droped torx screw down steering shaft housing.

I just dropped the torx screw from the multifunction switch down the steel housing that surrounds the steering shaft. Is there any way to get something that fell down the steering shaft housing?
 


Actually i was hoping for a fix that wasn't going to that big of pain. Also in my opinion I would think that a bolt that fell down the steering column may be serious as it could jam the steering wheel when driving. is that true, or could i just leave the bolt down there? Thanks
 
My suggestion was a little vague because we have no idea what you are working on.

Year would go a long way to potentially helping.
 
pull the plastic off, its clipped on. then unbolt the metal knee boltster. you screw could be on the metal lip at the bottom, ot on the card board foot cover.
