The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
So I've been doing some research and alot of reading on backinblack's lighting page but I'm still pretty confused. Is there a way to disable my drl's but still retain the auto headlight function?
Yep.
On driver side dash panel. Look in there there is a black box with fins (heatsink) There is a plug unplug that and all done. works on 97-01 i think
Unplugging the DRL diode disables the DRL circuit for all 1997 - 2003 models.
Replacing the photoresistor disables the auto lights for all 1997 - 2003 models.
Pulling the DRL FUSE disables BOTH, but only for the 1997 - 2001 models.
on my 97 v6 camaro i was able to remove the radio fuse and reprogram this and similar features. see if any of this stuff works on the wbody cars Modifications Encyclopedia
