DownShifting Problem

Well I am having problems with the car downshifting into passing gear....It started happening when I put the new K&N Intake on....It wants to go nowhere when you try to pass someone it doesnt shift for awhile when your give it gas it sticks at 4 grand for awhile b4 it will shift...Im thinkin it has something to do with the stock pcm still in it.... If anyone has any ideas please let me know....

Nope. Stock PCM wouldn't matter if all you have is that overpriced POS intake. Any codes?

the only motor stuff done to it is the intake of course and flowmaster exhaust from the cat back....no codes at all and it also has had a problem with just dying when im at a light or wat not and checked for dat and still no codes..... and the gas gauge goes crazy also....

just have electrical problems out all of a sudden? im not thinking that is wat it is im thinkin theres something about the stock pcm for the downshifting problem and the rest I have read up on on here and have a idea what it is

take out that pos filter. Do you have an SES light?

no lights or anything but i am waiting on my stock box from the guy I bought the intake from I left it in his car so when i get it I will give it a try and see if that helps
