Started to take the top end off the part car motor.

I had trouble with a few things... The fuel Lines! I got the 3/8 and 5/15 plastic one. Pushed in on the line and wiggled that connection around. nothing. I got tired of messing with it and just cut as you mite see in this pic. So Help how to disconnect the line would be great.

also how do i get the elbow on the LIM out? I tried to pull but i knew i was going to need a new one when i put on other car after cleaning and maybe porting. but for now just help getting the coolant elbow out and new one in. Also i was really messy takin this apart and didnt drain any coolent and had some spill in. but other than that i think it looks good for a car ver 300k

Before cleaning and paint

Just crack the plastic. Personally, I think the metal ones will corrode and cause long term issues. But .. that's long term.

Don't remove it, you'll get crap mpg, and it's not going to benefit you at all. Venting it to atmosphere, bypassing the solenoid, is a better option. This way the pcm has no control over the boost, and the bbv stays functional.
