Door/Trunk Lock

  • Hi, I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. My door lock went out. I changed the fuse and still not working. The chims will sound when I use the auto lock but the doors will not lock. The trunk will mot open either when I hold the lock to the open position. I"ve changed the fuse three times and every time I get a small spark when I do so. What might be the problem.
 


Does the new fuse you are installing blow immediately as you install it? If so, then you have a short somewhere in the wire harness. A little spark is ok as long as it's not blowing the fuse.
