The driver side door on my car sags a little and seems to have shifted forward. It started a month or two ago when the fender started making this loud "pop" when i opened the door. It now catches so bad, that the fender has been bent by the door.

Im at a loss and really need to get to work in the morning... Are my door hinges shot?

Btw, its a 98 Grand Prix GT coupe.

yes. but you can ussually jack up or pull really hard up on the door and tweak it back. but that usually only works for a week or so. should at least get you to work in the morning!

screwdriver and a rag, bend the fender back out so it doesnt catch anymore. had to do it on my passenger side. its only a temporary fix since the door is the problem.

i have this problem on my passenger door and temporarily fixed it like bio said to do. but it started back up again after about a month. its not the hinges its like on the bottom piece below the door and right where it connects to the fender its cracked and causes it to sag and catch. at least thats how it is on my car and my buddys. im gonna try welding mine it should fix it

my buddies 99 GTP coupe did this. we had to replace his fender and made it so it didnt catch.

i think its a 2door thing. those are heavy doors to have on hinges
