Doing lower intake manifold gasket, what else to do while in there?

Just picked up a 2002 GTP, needs the lower intake manifold done as well as valve cover gaskets. Car currently has 160,000 on it. It's in pretty good shape, but needs a few things done here and there. Still has dexcool, which is miraculously still orange, but will be draining/flushing that out while doing the intake manifold. Considered doing head gaskets/top end gaskets since it's really not much more work while in there.

My question is mainly, since I will have it that far apart, what else should I be looking at doing? Lifters? Not super familiar with the L67's so I am more than happy for suggestions!

Thanks all!

Nothing.

Do the LIM gaskets, valve cover, supercharger gasket and the coolant flush. Nothing else is a must do.

Head gaskets rarely if ever fail, new lifters isn't needed if none are causing problems.

you are better off not doing the head gaskets, they are good from the factory. if you are doing lower intake manifold gaskets, you should do coolant elbows as well and the upper plenum gasket, and might consider doing the throttle body gasket as well. you could do lifters if you want, but there isn't any need for it unless you are doing a cam in the future, and even then the need isn't strong.
