Dog-Bone flip

What does it exactly do? I've read it makes the engine more "stiff" but what does that exactly do?

you flip the bushings in the front so they dont move as much, allowing the motor to be held a little stiffer in place.

better shifts mainly.

haha I tried this and destroyed my stock mounts... USE LOTS OF LUBE

When I flipped mine I used WD-40 and a screw driver to get the lube all around it. Then I rocked them a bit, put in more oil and they moved pretty easy. Another trick is to put the bolt back in the mount after removing the dog bone, then use two wrenches and push towards the engine 90 degrees.

i used wd-40, smashed the bushing itself in a vice and turned the mount around it. took me all of 2 minutes for each mount.
