• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Does it matter?

So I'm going to do some maintenance on this thing this coming week and I know I need to change out the fuel filter so I'm going to do that. Does it matter what fuel filter I go with? I know there are performance ones but really are the anything that's going be like yes I'm glad o got that?

Also the spark plug wires... any tricks to get them things off with the metal boots around them? I've tried to pull them things off and no luck!! I'm thinking of grabbing like needle nose plyers and just ripping them off! Any tricks would be appriciated! !

I think you will be fine with any fuel filter. For the plug wires make sure you twist them before you try to pull them off. Also try twisting while you pull. Sometimes it does come down to grabbing with pliers and just pulling hard.

Does the metal boots really do anything but piss people off then they go to change things out? They are on there now and a ***** to get off!

They help protect from heat.

Push the metal thing toward the engine..twist boot...never wait 100K miles to take off wires.

mine are in the land fill.........

if they are really stuck put some leather work gloves on, that way when your hand goes flying, its protected.
