Does anbody in a snow state experience this problem in the winter?

This is our second Grand prix and both have had the same problem. During the winter the sand seems to get into the window and when you roll it down it makes a noise which is worse than nails on a chalkboard. Does anybody know how to prevent this? The car does get washed on a regular basis and that does not seem to help.
