Do keys have sensors or chips in them





Lol, I sent a message to them I don't think mine is pk3 think it might be the other one, since it's an 05'

I'll have to look that one up then. That's good to know, my 97 has PK3 on them but this car came with a funky key with a hole instead of a slot for the ring and the key has no markings on it.

1) Insert the original, already programmed key in the ignition and start the engine.

2) After the engine has started, turn the key to off and remove the key.

3) Insert the key to be programmed and turn it to on within 10 seconds of removing the original key.

4) The security light will turn off once the key has been programmed. It may not be apparent that the security light went on due to how quickly the key is programmed.
