Do GTP injectors actually "spray" cone shaped mists in a flowbench???

Hey y'all out there in GTP land. I took my injectors to this 1 famous local place in the NW IL Burbs last summer to have the 10+yr old injectors checked. Dude put them in a flowbench thing & connected them up electronically & also to the ports. He ran some I guess simulated gasoline thru them & they were all within spec. 2 were slightly off but like +/- 3% IIRC. I did, however, notice that they did not "spray" out. It looked more like pulsating jets of liquid for lack of better terms. All over the web it says injectors are supposed to spray cone shaped mists. That makes a lot of sense in terms of optimization. After the flowbench test I said "So whaddaya think? Let's clean them, yeah?" He said: "No, they look good. They're within spec & in good condition. I'd run them in my car." I asked him immediately "Wait a sec aren't they supposed to "spray" out? Not just shoot out?" He said "Well, not really. They don't really always spray like that. They're good, believe me." I paid him a few bucks for the test but felt that something was off.

So what's the deal? Are they supposed to noticeably spray or what? I have pretty bad mpgs but no misfires that I'm aware of & no misfire codes. I DO, however, have a s*it Bosch front O2. A Denso replacement will be here Thursday in the mail. I'm looking for some good feedback on the injectors... Should I take them back & make them clean them with that ultrasonic business regardless of what they think???

That is a GOOD video! Thanks. Yeah at the place I took 'em to the electricity supplied to them was in pulses & not constant like in the vid. So perhaps they were alright & since they just alternated spraying out for a split second at a time it was hard to notice the spray pattern(s).
