DIY intake help

Yeah i'm with you, i've had my same DIY intake on my 3 gp's and i've never had it get that hot, maybe warm, but not hot.

Also, for the OP. I'd have went with a 45deg peice of pipe, rather that 90. There's nothing wrong with the 90deg, but personally, it just looks a little "odd"

Turned out well. Next mod should be matching the UIM with the same colour paint/powdercoat as the dogbones/diagonal bracing. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Yea I can agree with you I wish the bend wasn't so sharp... But the pvc is so cheap if I wanted to change it I could! And yea I agree... I'm just worried that the engine paint won't Match up with the dog bones and it will stand out... I would just have to get high temp paint right?

Yes they have metal surrounding them you can just cut the metal off and have a rubber coupler. They are a little more but look better and it won't be as limp lol
