Disable DRL but leaving Auto Headlights.

Hi Guys:

I have a 97 GTP. This is my problem, I want to install HID lights on it, but I want to remove the DRL feature but to leave the Auto Headlights feature on. I have checked in a couple of sites but its very confusing.

Please, give me a hand and tell me the way to have DRLs off but dont touch the automatic lights option.

Look in the drivers side compartment in the dash. It's on the side of the dash. Pop the cover off and you should see a metal heatsink. Remove the plug going into the haetsink. That will disable the DRL's only. The autolight feature will still function.
