DIC traction control button...issue.

For about 2 years now I have been unable to turn OFF the traction control. I have replaced, brakes, struts, transmission, both axles, hubs... pretty much everything. Like an idiot I never noticed the light for TCS OFF doesn't come on with every other damn light when you key the ignition.

OHHHH must be the bulb!!! Right? Took apart the entire DIC and get inside to the all the little c24 bulbs and start swapping them around. re-key the ignition and nope...that light still doesn't come on. button still does nothing.

Nothing in the HP tuner, or anything in the snapon odbII reader show a fault. or a failed test.


Another thing, I have replaced (spliced) in an entire new btsi switch harness, and tomorrow I will try and get this new ignition harness installed.

If that's not it....I guess ill replace the DIC, which I cant seem to find anywhere... But seriously what else can it be? 65% of this entire car has been replaced
 


Sounds like you need to take the radiator cap off and slip a new car underneath it. Lol jk

Have you had the car scanned at a dealer? Probably not since you didn't mention it. Sometimes the thing that makes more sense costs a bit of money. Dealer scanners will find the problem for you.
Just my opinion though.
