INFORMATION detailed sons 2000 GXP

So my son purchased a 2000 GXP, nice car but it has been neglected. You could tell the car hasnt seen a coat of wax in years. Paint was supposed to be black but it was more like a really faded out milky grayish color. First things first we gave it a good bath followed by using a clay bar over the whole car. I could not believe the dirt and grime the clay bar pulled out of the surface. The clay bar got the surface ready for my first step in the paint correction which was using my swirl and haze remover from Adams products applied with proter cable and a orange pad. This got the small scracthes from the claybar out and started bringing the color back from the dead. Switched to some fine polish and a white pad and attacked the car again. I have to say I was quite impressed with the way the car shined and so was my son and his friends, they just couldnt believe that it was the same car. I still need to protect the hard work by putting a coat of wax on it I'll probably use some meguires gold product on it. I know this post is useless with out pictures so hopefully I'll be able to get some post up soon. Thanks for your time!

and theres no such thing as a 2000 GXP.

Yep your right, my bad. I meant GTP. Got the wheels off now to paint the calipers and clean the rims real good. should have some pics today.

Meg's #26 Yellow :D

Yeah maybe if I got some lying around. I like the 105 and 205 cutting compounds but I've been using alot of Adams products lately
