Dem new G37 thingamabobbers....

I did the swap a while back when it was my buddies car. The engine was from a low mile 04' max. This was back before people did full swaps to keep the variable cam timing etc. Long story short the car has a 3.5 but with static 3.0 timing equipment and a 3.0 ecu. That probably sounds like a lot of work, and it is, but not overly complicated.. Just time consuming.
 


4th gen with VQ35 swap (hybrid swap) is damn good.

Car weighs about 3,000 lbs plus 255hp = good time

Guys that do the swap find it easy to slide into the 13s bracket in 1/4

I30s with 5sp automatically have LSD tranny FTW

My first car was a 99 I30 that my dad bought brand new. I only wish it was as cool as this one is. Gotdang.
 


A coworker of mine has an 07 g35x which is the all wheel drive sedan. We raced when I first got my Daytona. Both cars were stock. It was dead even until about 80 when he started to pull away. I want a rematch now that I have mods
 
iirc correctly the g35x sedans were like 14.5ish cars so this could be about right..then the vq killed you on the top cuz thats what it does! sorry, im a huge vq nutswinger which is why i own one lol.
