I recently purchased the push button oem stero cassette for a 1990 Grand Prix. The radio with the equalizer and all the buttons. I tried putting it into the car and it said loc. I do not know how to unlock it or how to enter the code. Any help would be appreciated. I tried pushing buttons but nothing happend
 


Give this a try. I know it worked on one I did. Not sure it will work w/ the 90's radio.

Press and hold presets 2 and 3 (1 & 4 for older radios) for about 6 to 9 seconds.

There will be 2 or 3 digits displayed.

Press AM/FM button and write down the numbers

Call 1-800-537-5140 Then enter 106010 and press * (star)

Enter the #'s from the radio that you wrote down and press * (star)

Get the code and write it down.

Use the HR (hour) button to enter the 1st two digits. Use the MN (minute) button to enter the second 2 digits.

Press AM/FM and the radio should unlock.
