Decent dry Cone air filter?

SaukRapids

I can't car too good.
Mines beat up from when it sat on the PCM and dirty af. I really don't want oiled. One I got is 3.5" id.

Found one last night, but it's kinda more than what I thought one would cost.

Any input/suggestions?

Just run to your local parts store and grab a cone filter. My autozone or advanced used to sell AEM Dry Flow's for like 40-50 bucks. Sadly the dry flow filters do run more; because of the lack of maintenance that you have to do and the fact they USUALLY will outlast an oiled filter since most people don't take care of them worth a crap. I've had great luck with my AFE dry flow so far on my Vette, but I would assume that they make universal filters, too.

But the $30 spectre filters work fine if you replace them every couple years.

Don't get a non-name brand one. All the cheap ones I've gotten all seem to have quality issues like not sealed all the way at one end or the other. Both 9" AEM dry flow I've gotten were fine, as well as the 7" double cone Spectre I'm running now.
