Day My Car Was Manufactured

hey everyone, today in my english class my teacher was talking about how nothing is made in america these days blah blah blah and was saying how cars made in america are better built than foreign cars and such. she also said consumer reports did a report on how cars that are made on monday's and friday's are made worse than on other days. she said it was possible to find out what day your car was made on, but after a google search ive come up short. anyone know how i could find out what the exact date my car was made? im assuming it involves my VIN number and such, ive also heard that fords have something called an oasis report? thanks for any help! this is just strictly out of curiousity. would also give me an excuse to get my car a "birthday" present every year lol

Also details that. But how did you find the exact day/month of your car? Like my last 6 digits are 318245 but how do you translate that to an exact date?

Take your vin to the dealer and ask them to run it.

My Bonneville was made on 11/20/1996. Found out when looking for trans lines.
