Dash Lights

Well i see people talking about changing the bulbs in the dash and places to change the color. One of my friends had an old grand am and had a thing that he put in his dash to do this but i don't know where to find one. It was just something that he set in between the dash and the needles and it had wires coming off of it that made it light up so it just covered the old lights with new ones. Anyone know where to find one?
 


somewhat unclear... you may be thinking about a color change gauge face overlay.

or you could always buy some leds in your fav color and replace the bulbs. i put blue ones in mine. they were just 5 #94 bulbs.

I thought about that. What size leds? and you need to solder if i'm not mistaken. And how hard is it to get to the lights.
