had to rent a cv shaft puller the drivers side shaft was being so stubborn! 3 or 4 tugs on the slide hammer and the cv shaft pulled out along with the internal shaft from the trans! whoops. i held the output shaft with one hand and smacked the cv with a hammer and it popped off.
reinserted shaft into trans and it popped back in. installed new cv and done.
just didn't expect that internal shaft to come out with the stubborn cv shaft.
