r u sure their would be no power gain? i have a buddy with a saabaru (saab 9-2x same as a wrx wagon) he dynoed his car with the cutout open and the cutout closed and with it open he saw a few more horsepower.
 
whats the hp on it? because with a gp catback has no difference in hp until after like 320 or something like that correct?
 
it would be the same as dropping the catback. dropping the catback will only give you a few more ponies only if youre fairly well modded. either way, that ugly exhaust sound you get doesnt outweigh the gains you'd get from it. stay away.
 


yea i can agree with that...if it is any gain it is marginal...so it comes down to if u like the sound of our cars with a open cutout....i personally dont so i wouldnt put a cot out on it.
 
ya i would keep the catback. GP exhausts are just different than other cars. where a 3'' catback is a hp mod for them its not for a GP
 


well if someone would give me one....i would probably put it on and try it out more than likely to realize i hate it and take it off...but thats just me i have to learn the hard way sometimes that way you dont have to ask "what if"
 
It'll be more trouble installing it and cost more money having something fabbed up there and then take it off to sell it...you'd be upside down in it prolly. Do it right the first time and get rid of that thing on CL or Fleabay
