custom shifter?

k i have the stock shifter with the perf button. i know if i wanted i could relocate the perf button but what about the main buuton on the front of the shifter. is this important? if it were removed would it affect anything? im asking because id like to put a hurst t- shifter in if i can but id have to relocate the perf button and remove the other buuton.

That shifter would look completely out of place. The button controls the park lock gate the hurst shifter has one also in the form of the pull lever.

idk if id look outta place. the car came stock with silver and black interior. i think a silver or black t shift would look alright. but thanks anyway

Try a GTO shifter. Its been done and looks good.
