Cruise won't stay on

Hey everyone, I'm new and happy to be here!

I have an 06' GP and the cruise decided to crap out...
When I hit the button it doesn't turn on but if I repeatedly press it will turn on for a second or 2 then shut off again, any ideas?

If the answers are in another thread plz point me in the right direction, thanks

Have you checked to see if all of your brake/tail lights are working? It's a known quirk with the 97-03 cars.
 
^yep... check your 3rd brake light, a bulb(s) blown

edit.... just noticed it's an 06, would think it would be the same?
 
Yea, when mine went out, it was the third brake light bulds (two of them) were burnt out, installed new bulbs, cruise worked again, SO bizarrr.
 
So I checked out the the led strip on the spoiler and it works fine...all other bulbs are also good and i checked all the fuses i could find...hmmm
