• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Rebuilt engine.. car turns over but won't catch has fuel but no spark from coils..... coils tested good icm tested good new crank sensor....

pop a plug wire off the coil and prop it a inch over the coil where it plugs on, then crank the car, your looking for a spark to jump to the wire from the coil.

No coil is giving off a spark I have a tester that I plug on coil and plug wire not showing any spark... put testr on another car it works fine

hook a jumper cable to the battery neg- post and to the alternator bracket see what happens. Has to be a bad ground somewhere.

Cam magnet is there all grounds were checked multiple times no spark from coils pink wire has 12 volts any fuse or something that controls spark....

Is the ICM connector and the connectors at the pcm snug?

I assume you changed the motor? So then we know it's likely something that was missed when you swapped. It's common and definately you will never forget what it was when it's found.

Did you pull the wiring harness out with the motor or leave it in the engine bay?

Then you didn't disconnect the harness from the pcm?
And you didn't disconnect the harness at the fuse box?

Have you pulled plugs and found them wet?
If you have no spark and prime 3 or so times, your plugs should show signs of wetness.

I am no pro, but make sure to check for Cam and Crank signals both into and out of the ICM. If the PCM never gets the message its probably a bad ICM. I agree with everyone though, check the grounds...and then recheck.
