Cranks no start? Timing chain?

Ladies and gentlemen!
I have 04 Grand Prix 190,000 miles. I think I have a bad timing chain, that is the only thing left, to replace.

Everything else id=s new! Non supercharged 3.8 V6! Will a bad timing chain do internal engine damage? Yes or no?
