Cranks but doesn't start sometime. Help!

What's up new to the site could really use some help

Alright I have a 2002 grand prix se which has been sitting around the last year and a half, I've been working on it the last month or so. I started with the basics new battery, oil/filter change, transmission fluid/filter change spark plugs/wires. Now after I've been driving around for awhile it will just crank and not start almost every day this happens. Thinking about taking it in to a mechanic to get it checked out or maybe someone here might know more about this problem.

Does it have a 3100 or 3800?

Either way, could be the starter.

Well do you have spark? fuel pressure? injector pulse?

It's a 3.1L when it starts it runs great but then it just wont start then I usually give it 30 min to an hour and it will start.
