Crank Seal

I recently discovered my Crank seal is leaking oil really bad, leaving a puddle under my car overnight. Today I was able to get the pulley bolt off, but I'm not sure how to get the balancer its self off. I rented a 5 ton 2/3 jaw puller from the auto part store but the prongs did not fit in the holes in the balancer. What kind of puller do I need to get the balancer off? Also I put the bolt back in just until I can get what I need but I don't know how to tighten it down all the way without spinning the crank? Any tips to hold the engine still so I can torque down the bolt when I'm done? Thanks in advance!

you need a harmonic balancer puller not a 3 jaw. should be able to rent it from auto zone, etc.]
