cpl qustions for my new setup in my 97 2dr

hello everyone im new to the forum not to sure how things werk still tryinf to figure everything out. i just have a cpl quick questions for the engine setup im planning for my 2dr over the next few months. im doing the rocker panels on the car right now thnx for lvin in canada. im planning the motor build at the end of the summer and through the winter im just not to sure i think i have everything figured out i wanna do im slowly starting to pik up parts while im doin the body and savin for paint. i was just looking for some help on piking a cam for the combination im building and a cpl other things if anyone could help out the help is greatly appreciated. soo heres my plans..

Car setup & parts list
fresh bottom end done by local friends shop and tranny with shift kit n synthetic fluids
msd or similar wires and coils
ngk tr6's or autolite 104's if im right on the temp?
180 or 160? deg thermostat not sure which is better for my setup car will never be winter drivin just a cruizer.
headers downpipe and exhaust
throttle body and s/c port and head port to match for cam
throttle body spacer a/c delete pulley
cold air
proper belts?
new water pump high vol oil pump
cam? 105# Springs and special retainers
3.25 inch pulley
pcm custom tune by killer pcm's [email protected]

I may have missed a cpl things just the main performance stuff i just bought the car iv only had a cpl weeks and ive been reading lots on the forum and joined thats how i figured out everything i wanna do exactly. the cam i was thnkin of a comp cams nuthin to crazy but any other sugestions or any help would be great thnx. welcome to the forums, good to see you are taking care of the car. here is a good place to start when it come to modding your engine, supporting mods are key for these cars

as for my opinions, here goes:

-msd wires are good and keep stock coils
-do autolite 104's because GTPs love copper plugs
-180 or 160 deg thermostat is totally your choice
-defnatley by headers and they come with their own downpipe. changing the rest of the exhaust will not net you anymore HP it will change the sound only. be sure to keep some kind of resonator in there or it will be rraassppyy
-having your throttle body, s/c, and heads ported is an excellent idea if you have the money
-throttle body spacers are a waste of money, no gain there and deleting the a/c pulley is also up to you as i hope your summers are not hot and muggy like ohio's
-a cold air intake is good because colder air combusts better but you wont get as good of gas milage and short ram or open cone intakes are for better gas mileage and better flow, its al in preference
-just keep new belts on (not 100% on brands) and you will be good
-a new water pump is a good idea and not sure about high vol oil pump (just dnt know that much about them)
-for the cam, springs, and retainers, search the forums for what other members say or maybe someone will chime in
-with a good tune a 3.25 inch pulley souldnt be a problem
-a street tune (HP tuners) is your best bet but a mail order tuned PCM by DHP (sold by 3800 performance) is the best to buy

ive read most of the stuff on the forum bout cam selection and specs but im looking for a lil better guidance or personal preference with a similar combination for a cam. the belts im gunna ofcourse put new belts im not sure on size for the 3.25 pulley not needed right yet thoe ahaha i read the thread on belt sizes just cudnt figure it out. the ac delete is already done just wanted it all outta under the hood only thing i need in the delete pulley now once the motor goes bak in. and the thermostat i would like to keep it kool and put a 160 in it but i just wanna make sure thats not too cold.
