cowl and water leak, somple question

After a night out with a female companion she opened the door to notice water on the passanger side and it was dripping from underneath the dash area. Later that night I looked up some things and followed a guide to remove my cowl, so that I could look for the issue.

I read the post about leaks and the seal

but till i get the new part to handle water dripping, which way do i place the plastic part to handle water drips?

make sure that rubber seal just above that point is attached nicely. i used some nice clear adhesive to make sure mine was secure.

then worry about the cowl piece.
