Couple questions about rotors on a CompG (Stoptech, R1 ..and Delco?)

SaukRapids

I can't car too good.
I shopped and researched brakes. Aesthetically, I'd like drilled and slotted fronts and just slotted rears. I'm going with either Hawk or EBC pads.

I've read on other forums that Stoptech/PowerStop and R1 both use Centric blanks. Beyond that, Centric offers a "High Carbon" blank in the form of R1's Premium line (vs eline). I haven't looked for a similar offering from Stoptech, yet. Are the premium line worth the extra? What about brands like EBC or Baer rotors; are they worth an even higher premium?

Also, RA shows drilled blanks for an 05 GTP from AC Delco marked with a (JL9) brake option. *I've read these won't fit. JL9 option is a 12.7" front rotor. Mine is 11.7 inches.

Thanks!

ive got R1 brakes e line drilled slotted with their scorched pads. f bodys up front, stock out back. and these are hands down the best damn brakes ive ever owned.

there should be a comp g option there. look em up on ebay, will be less then 200 for all 4 corners.

I had the elines on my regal and moved up to the higher carbon content premiums on the Audi. I find R1 rotors to be amazing in many ways.
The elines have a coating and do not rust on the spline/end. The premiums do the same.
I didn't pay attention to how long the cross hatching lasted on the elines, but noticed it was about 20K miles before it was worn and no longer visible on the high carbon. I'm at about 30K on the high carbon and they don't look like I've actually used them. Ask around... I nearly gave Scott a nosebleed showing him R1 brakes.. lol

the best was i had Dominick drive my car to feel the brakes, before he took off i told him to just roll 3 feet, then stop so you know what your dealing with, he almost ate the steering wheel. i laughed hard .....

I picked up some black elines off ebay. I've had powerstop rotors before they were stoptech and liked those. If these are the same quality blanks, I'm sure they're good. Hard to beat the price.
