COPS and there crookedness

meh not necessarily. i used to drive the family minivan and i got that ass pulled over in it haha

I put numbers in to make it easier to follow.

1. It is illegal to have that dark of tint.

2. He has a history of doing well over the speed limit and the officer has a right to pull him over because his tint IS illegal. With him previously being that far over the limit he have to stop and tell every cop he passes from that day forward where he is going and what he is up too if the care to listen to him. :th_thumbsup-wink:

What makes these posts the best is the fact that up until about his 12th post he swears in everyone stating how he is a **** adult and **** this and *** that and everyone that has any sort of disagreement with what he stated he has a negative comment towards them and yet again swears and demands respect when it is clearly stated by the individual why he isn't getting any respect.

If a person refuses to look at themselves with a mindset that they may be wrong. It doesn't matter what you state or how you state it they will not accept your response, because their mind is already made up. :th_winking:
 
Since Im a cop, my opinon will probably not be well received. Therefore I will make it a short one. Cop was probably not to professional about it, but he was doing his job. This does not negate that he is crooked. It implies that he was maybe not the nicest, but again, he done his job. I will leave it at that, and Im ready to be thrown to the wolves!
 


the day i got my tint done on my car i got pulled over. hadn't swapped my registration from my old car to new car (same plates) so cop pulled me over since my plate came up as a 98 monte carlo lol.

i go to roll my window down and it's not working. tint guy forgot to plug my window switch back in.

i have 5% rear and 10% on the front.

The cop is motioning to roll my window down. i yell i can't. when i try to open my door he slams it shut on me. so i yell louder my window isn't working. then he opens the door slowly and gets me out of my car.

i for sure thought i was getting a tint ticket. but after showing him bill of sale, insurance and the rest he tells me to have a good night.

moral is...not all cops notice everything...

I agree cops are doing their job. But there are some out there that take the badge a little to far. Meaning they think they are bad ass, when in reality you are just a glorified civilian. Im glad we have cops and respect them but just because i may have rims on my car and it's pimped out doesn't by any mean warent me to be pulled over. If my car is braking some sort of law then by all means pull me over. But i get cops that will tail gait my car just because it's loud, they run the plates and find nothing on my record because I'm clean. Then they still pull me over ask why my exhaust is loud then i have to explain how they are performance mufflers and ITS SUPPOSED TO BE THAT WAY then they see my inspection sticker report paper and the sticker it self and im on my way. I get pulled over at least once every month for stupid ****.
 
I have no tint, never been followed, never been pulled over cept when i was doing 10 mph over and got a ticket for 5.

Dude... c'mon. I know it's frustrating being pulled over, especially when you feel like you're being wronged, but when you act like this I can't really see any outcome other than getting a ticket. You proved the stereotype that he already had of you, and ruined any chance of a verbal or written warning. A little respect goes a long way with someone who has authority over you.
 
"Glorified Civilians"? Really???? I've been called a son-of-a-*****, and everything in-between, but a "Glorified Civilian" takes the cake! Obviously you've never taken an oath of service; otherwise "Glorified Civilian" would not be able to be processed in your CPU. I took an oath to protect the Civilians/public, therefore I’m anything BUT glorified and an all of a PUBLIC SERVANT. Just my "Glorified" opinion. Law enforcement and Military have to carry a gun to work just to be safe. I have to wear a bullet proof vest to help ensure that there’s a chance I can return home to my family standing up rather than in a box horizontally. I/we get cussed at, spit on, constantly in fights, harassed when we are off duty, careful of our surroundings when we are at our kid’s outings or dinner, just because that’s how it is! How is this glorified? Just wondering….seems a little more like “Humbled Civilian” to me. And yes, there are bad apples in all professions. And I/we are not looking for sympathy, because I/we chose this profession, or better yet, it chose us. Im proud of this! Oh yeah, BTW, Im putting new 6x9's in my car in the next few days!:th_thumbsup-wink:

I agree with you completely. I was a Military Police Officer in the Army, not only did we do law enforcement on base, but we also got deployed more than any other MOS to fight in the war. I came home and had a woman at the airport spit on me and call me a Murderer. It's a thankless job, but we don't do it for the glory, we do it because we want to do our part to make the world a better place. . .
