cooling system question

Ok looking at my coolant hoses today while the car was running, and when I give the car throttle both coolant hoses suck in. Now everything that has to do with cooling is brand new or fairly new.do I just need to put coils in the hoses? Probly going to do that anyways. just wanted to know if there could be any other causes...

if your sucking the hoses shut, you need to bleed the system.

feel the hoses. if they're rock hard or way too soft then they need to be replaced.

Ok, thanks for the fast replies..what's the proper way to bleed the system on this car?

Get it up to operating temp, turn the heat on high, let the car run and open the bleeder on top of the thermostat untill only coolant comes out, A no spill funnel on the rad helps keep the coolant higher than the engine while you do this helping get air out. You will have to do this a few times to get the air out.

Ok replaced bottom hose (kinda soft) and bled until straight coolant was coming
Out the bleeder top hose stopped for the most partan but the bottom hose is still sucking in. Not as bad if course cause of the new hose..but still lost

Not trying to sound redundant, but do you have a thermastat installed, if so, is it insalled correctly? Is is possible it is stuck wide open? Also, is your rasdiator cap in good condition? If the system is not holding pressure like it should, it could be the cause of your hoses sucking in.

Drill a hole in the thermostat T plate to help it self bleed. Tiny, like 1mm or less.
