Cooling fans stuck on. Help

Hello all. I have a 2000 gtp that the cooling fans come on at start up and never shut off. Coolant level is at the top and the ac is shut off. At this point I have just pulled the master fuse as it is not hot enough to worry about overheating. Another little piece of information, even with the fuse for the fans pulled the car has been running cooler than it ever has before(around 170). Any ideas? Thanks for any help

Sounds like maybe the relay for the fans it bad. Maybe swap it with another one under the hood and and see if the fans work properly.

If the car is running much cooler. The PCM might think the ECT is bad and kick on the fans as a fail safe. Any codes?

Thanks in advance to all who have replied. No codes thrown. Sounds like the ect is where all the people seem to be pointing. Where is the sensor located and any tips or tricks on replacing would be great. I think this is going to be my first course of action. Thanks guys.

and..it can suck to replace as the engine mount bracket keeps you from having good access. Drain the coolant ahead of time.. There's quite a bit in the upper end of the motor.
