Cooling Fans Problem

Ok so after i changed to open cone intake my cooling fans stay on all the time so my engine never heats up much at all.
Im guessing its either because 1: My pcm is broken cause its just sitting there under the 9" Spectre cone on the bottom of where old intake used to be, or 2: Because the sensor that was in the old intake is ziptied in the engine bay and not inside the tubing from the intake to the throttle body.

Which do you think.

Obvious answer. Clearly you need to drill a hole and put it where it belongs.. not sure if that has anything to do with your fans though.

Actually with the possibility of it being the thermostat im going to wait til i do the lim replacement and see if it continues.
